The Icehotel Sweden

The Swedish Icehotel attracts adventurous types with its all-ice accommodations 12 miles north of the Arctic Circle. But the sci-fi squad and design geeks will want to make reservations at the hotel to check out the new Tron-themed suite.

Inspired by a nightclub the upcoming Tron: Legacy flick, the “Legacy of the River” suite is pimped out with futuristic lights using technology the hotel’s never used in its 20-year history.



Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel that is located at the heart of Dubai city in United Arab Emirates. It was designed to imitate sail of the ship and is the second tallest hotel in the world. Standing on the artificial island Burj Al Arab is connected to mainland by private curving bridge. It is both luxurious and unique due to its form as well as contents. The hotel has 28 double-story floors and 202 suites and also offers restraints and large seawater aquarium.

We couldn’t ask for anything better to break up the monotony of a slow news day than the announcement of a Ping-Pong Paddle Hotel.

The hotel is being constructed in the city of Huainan, China as part of a $45.8 million sports complex which will have a main stadium shaped like an American football and smaller facilities shaped like a basketball, volleyball and a soccer ball.

But the pinnacle of this complex will no doubt be the Ping Pong Paddle Hotel.



BubbleTree Hotel France

While we wait for the W Paris to open, there’s another funky hotel we can check into just outside the city–The BubbleTree Hotel at Chateau Mal-maison, the former home of Napoleon’s wife, Josephine de Beauharnais .

The WSJ reports on this unusual kind of outdoor hotel where the rooms are actually self-enclosed “bubbles.” The French designer, Pierre-Stephane Dumas

Igloo Village is a part of Hotel Kakslauttanen in Finland, which provides traditional and unique futuristic igloos during winter season for residents to enjoy the snow sights and northern lights under the glass ceiling at room temperature.



Quinta Real Zacatecas, Mexico

Quinta Real Zacatecas is a converted-bullring-hotel in México. The bullring which was built in 19th century has hosted its last corrida in 1975 being later restored and redesigned into a hotel which has preserved the feel and the beauty of its original structure. The former bullring is now a colonial-style patio with flowers and romatic landscapes.



Ice Hotel Canada

While the idea of an ice hotel is not new, it seems like this unique idea is really starting to catch on, considering the fact that the hotel was rebuilt each and every year since the year 2000. Because the hotel is build entirely out of snow and ice the hotel is only opened to the public from the first week of January until the last week of March.



Hydropolis Underwater Hotel Dubai

While all of us imagined how it would be like to live underwater, most of us never actually thought that we would actually get to experience ourselves. However, a trip to Dubai, one of the seven Emirates in the United Arab Emirates, known for its opulence can easily make this dream come true. Situated on an artificial island 66 feet( 20 meters) below the Persian Gulf and covering a 260 hectares area, this incredible resort is still under construction. Like the rest of the hotels from Dubai, this hotel is certainly going to be one of the most amazing hotels of the world.
